Wow! What a way to start a season. All I can say is hold on to your hats because this eclipse is brining in some potent medicine!
Blood Moon: This is the final eclipse in a series of four full lunar eclipses beginning back in April of 2014. In a sense, this is the closing of a cycle that started around that time. Many people have been experiencing significant shifts in their lives over the past year and a half – I know I certainly have! Change is like a river. Some chose to deal with change by running toward it and going with the flow. Others run away from it, fighting against the current. And some become paralyzed and get swept away. Look back on your life and see if you can find what has changed for you. What hasn’t?
To put it in perspective, the last time we had this series of four full lunar eclipses was in 1967, so it’s definitely a significant event in the course of a lifetime. On top of that, it’s also a Supermoon – the closest the moon will be to Earth in all of 2015. Supermoons tend to make the energy of a full moon even more intense than it usually would be, which is kind of bonkers if you think about it. Stay out of trouble everyone!
What to do for the special occasion? Personally I will be staying in for a quiet evening at home, enjoying the peace and solitude at my new home in Vancouver. When I was a young girl, I was told it’s unlucky to look directly at an eclipse, so as superstitious as I am, I am spending the evening reflecting on the past year and a half (lots to reflect on – it’s been drastic!!) and setting intentions for the future.
The next cycle like this one won’t come again for another 18 years, so make the most of this one while you can. Spend some time releasing what no longer serves you, meditate on your dreams and wishes for what’s to come, and remember to be grateful for every moment of this beautiful life <3
I’m wishing you the best,
With Love,
Pauline
